Grace arrived at my house bearing a gift of these beautiful flowers from her garden. They are now sitting right next to my computer and the smell of the honeysuckle is heavenly! She is a gem and I am so glad to have met her and look forward to seeing her garden very soon!
I also look forward to reading her memoirs. If you haven't noticed look at the top of her blog and click on the link that says "Memoir Excerpt" and then ask her to post more for us to enjoy! Or else, just click here http://www.gracepete.com/p/normal-0-false-false-false.html
Annie, I enjoyed our visit so much. When I sat down in my car and saw the clock I couldn't believe it: 4:30! I was there for two and a half hours? The time just flew by--the true sign of having a good time. Your gardens didn't disappoint me in the least. In fact, I was just awestruck at every turn. I so love how you've incorporated your artwork into the mix of plantings. Such talent!! Thank you for the link-love. Mine is coming. I started working on it last night but petered out before I got it done. I'm glad you liked my first installment. I've been swimming in doubt ever since I posted it. I wonder if anyone will be brave enough to say they think it sucks. :) Anyway, thanks again for everything. I'm looking forward to our next get together.
